NV Rt. 439 now directly connects Route 50 in Silver Springs to Interstate 80. The new highway will reduce the commute distance from Silver Springs to Reno by 38%. This puts the Silver Springs/Stagecoach area in prime position to support the commercial growth in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.

Silver Springs airport is the closest airport to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. USA Parkway is approximately 1 mile from Silver Springs airport. The airport has geared up to support this growth with the addition of a LPV approach landing system, and jet A fuel that will support corporate jet traffic.

A new airport master plan for Silver Springs has been approved by Lyon County as of April 2017. This includes runway extension to 8440′ x 100′.
